FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Below we have answers for many of the most commonly asked questions. If you can't find what you're looking for, please feel free to use the "Ask The Expert" portion of our site. We try to answer questions as quickly as possible.
GENERAL SITE QUESTIONS
1. - I did not receive an e-mail confirmation when placing my order.
A: Most likely the e-mail address provided on the order was mis-typed. Order confirmations are sent to the address exactly as typed (please note that your e-mail address is used only for order confirmation and shipping information e-mails and is not used for any other purpose). Please also check any other e-mail accounts you may have.
2. - How are my products shipped??
A: All of our products are shipped Fed-Ex. We prefer to ship this way because the order is trackable and we also purchase insurance for your shipment to help minimize the chance of loss due to damage or mis-shipment.
3. - Why can I only select Fed-Ex ground on some items??
A: Some of the item we offer for sale are considered "hazardous" by Fed-Ex and as the shipper we need to be qualified to ship them air. Currently we are only certified to ship hazardous products ground. Examples of hazardous products include: oil stains, aerosols, lacquers, thinners and more.
4. - What are "Special Order" items??
A: These are items that we order for you from the manufacturer after you have placed your order. Typically these items take between 7-14 days to receive once your order is placed. All other items on the same order will be held until the order is complete.
5. - I ordered a color from your site, But it is different than what I received.
A: We offer color charts for any applicable products listed on our site. Due to many different computer monitors the colors that appear online may differ from the actual product. We have tried to minimize these differences through high resolution scans of the actual color charts.
6. - How much will the shipping be to my zipcode??
A: Our checkout feature on the site has the ability to give you the exact amount for shipping the products you require. First select the product(s) you'd like, add them to the shopping cart and then select "view cart" button that appears. On the next screen you'll see a box to select a shipping method. These will display the cost for shipping your order (You will be able to cancel the order from the shipping screen).
7. - Can I place my order over the phone??
A: If you are having difficulty using the site we encourage you to place your order by phone. Please keep in mind that we will not be able to give exact shipping costs or order totals as we need to process and prepare your order for shipment before we can provide an exact total.
8. - When Can I Expect My Shipment??
A: Shipment times are an estimate based on your shipping zipcode. Because of this we do not offer an exact delivery date or time. Many factors can delay your order (weather, availability of stock, payment issues). We make ever effort to ship products in a timely fashion but delays will occur from time to time.
